Jack was delighted that the fantastic Cllr Sally Coneron - Sunninghill and Ascot Conservatives was elected as the new local Conservative Councillor for the Ascot & Sunninghill ward:
CON - 1,264 (58.6%)
LAB - 74 (3.4%)
LD - 703 (32.6%)
IND - 118 (5.5%)
Sally has worked tremendously hard for residents already, and Jack is now looking forward to working with her to tackle the issues she campaigned on, like:
- Parking and traffic on and around both Ascot high street and Sunninghill high streets
- Improving the drop-off and pick-up situation at St Michael's School.
- Ensuring we have development in the area that meets the needs and wishes of the local community.
- Opposing the closure of Bagshot Swift Lane Community Recycling centre and working to make sure residents have convenient access to waste disposal.
- Making crossing Windsor Road to Ascot Racecourse safer.
- Campaigning to save the Novello Picture House.
- Improving the paired roundabouts near Heatherwood to improve safety for pedestrians.
