After his site visit and meeting, Jack said:
"I was pleased to meet Claire from WAMCLT - Windsor, Ascot & Maidenhead Community Land Trust earlier this week.
"They are working with Horton Parish Council and RBWM to bring Pickins Piece - a piece of land in Horton village that has been fenced off and become overgrown - back into use for the community.
"They are planning to use some of the plot for a number of sub-social rent houses and create a nature reserve with the rest of the space.
It is so important that we breathe new life into our spaces to create affordable housing and pleasant recreational spaces. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this project develops."
