Jack has been speaking to residents in Wraysbury, Datchet, Horton and Old Windsor on the issue of flooding, which severely impacts them.
“People quite rightly want Channel One of the River Thames Scheme fully funded,” he explains. “My argument is that this funding needs to come from national government, as strategic national infrastructure.”
Jack visited the area over the winter to see the impact of flooding and speak to residents as well as those providing help and support. If elected as the new MP for Windsor constituency, Jack will call for more central funding for flood relief, from the floor of the House of Commons.
On the issue of sewage pollution, the Conservatives have a plan to deal with this in a progressive and practical way that will not have a sudden detrimental impact on household bills, unlike other parties.
